Located in the scenic heart of Oregon's Hood River Valley, the Rasmussen family has been welcoming visitors to our beautiful farm for nearly 60 years. We're one of the Northwest's most popular farm destinations.

We love special celebrations!
We start in the Spring and end November 11, as Winter approaches.

BLOSSOM FESTIVAL -- April 19 & 20. The Hood River Valley in Bloom! The blossoms are usually out before and after these dates. Apples and Pears available from controlled atmosphere storage. We feature our Pansy Party, over 40 kinds, recipes and Greenhouse Open House. 4-H Farm Animals Petting area.

SUMMER SENSATIONS -- June 14 & 15. A celebration of Summer Sights, Scents and Flavor! U-Pick and Ready Picked Strawberries. Free Strawberry Shortcake and treats. Greenhouse fun with lots of special sales. HERBS, HERBS, HERBS – recipes, collections, and wreaths. Make your own planters and baskets workshop. Strawberry shot put. Live music on the weekend.

CHERRY CELEBRATION -- July 3 - 6. Cherry harvest should be at its peak with many varieties available. New varieties include Gibraltar, Chelan, Sandra Rose, as well as, Bing, Vann, Rainier and Stella -- all your favorites. We have recipes and samples to try, cherry pie, Oregon Cherry Products, and "Firecracker Plants."

VAN GOGH DAYS -- Aug 9 & 10 and continuing through August. Celebrating 60 kinds of sunflowers – Perfect opportunity to paint, cut, take photos and enjoy the many colors of summer. Reservations suggested for photo clubs or art groups. From 12-4pm: Live music, free wine tasting from Hood River Vineyards, vegetable games and treasure hunt. Quilt Show (Aug. 4 & 5) and art show and sale (Aug. 4 & 5). Please email us at info@RasmussenFarms.com if you wish to exhibit your work.

GRAVENSTEIN APPLE DAYS -- August 16 & 17. Kick-off the fall fruit season with our favorite pie apple. Fresh cider, Gravenstein Apple Pie, and recipes. Also, family activities, featuring a Pie Walk, Chicken Dance, and live music in the afternoons. Opening of the Corn Maze.

PEAR PARTY, September 20 & 21. This is the peak of the pear season, with 18 varieties plus free sampling! Pear pie, sampling of Oregon Food Products, lots of recipes, live music and "how-to" demonstrations of drying apples and pears. Wine tasting featuring pear wines and "perry" (pear hard cider) from Hood River Vineyards.

APPLE EXPRESS September 27 & 280. Apple season begins with over 50 kinds of apples including heirloom and experimental apples. Free samples, live music, apple cider, apple pie and other desserts. Danish Aebleskivers by our family, samples and recipes too! Pumpkin Funland preview and a covered picnic area.

PUMPKIN FUNLAND-- Oct 1 - Nov 11. Visit a wonderful, unique world created with pumpkins, gourds, squash and from items conjured up by our staff. See our Corn Maze in the corn field with scenes throughout. U-pick pumpkins, fall deco, and, of course, fall vegetables and fruits. Pumpkin bowling and our covered picnic area. GOURD CENTRAL -- our selection gets better every year. From small and tiny to very large swan, caveman, and birdhouse -- in all, over 20 kinds. Gourds are very exciting craft material in addition to traditional uses.

CORN MAZE -- Sep 1 - Oct 31. Jack in the Beanstock is our theme this year. Every year we feature a new theme.
